About the Author
Brianna’s life has revolved around story telling in many forms, through song, theater, and through her writing. With the arrival of her son, Brianna ended her long-time career in hospitality, finally affording her the opportunity to focus primarily on her writing and bringing a long awaited dream to reality.
Brianna spends her time strolling the beaches in sunny St. Augustine, Florida with her husband, son, dog, and cat. You can follow her haphazard mom adventures @mama.knows.nada
Penelope’s Inspiration
Penelope’s Character is a culmination of unique personalities that have Impacted the author’s life; people who have inspired and taught her to be unwavering and tenacious. Penelope’s wheelchair is inspired by the author’s best friend’s sister. The resilience, regardless of her chair, inspired Brianna to tell a story of a girl who was capable & strong, aware of her difference, yet determined. She hopes Penelope can serve as a reminder to young girls and boys that anything is possible with focus, Persistence, and a positive perspective.
